Emotions Run Thick in Our Blood

Do you like to go upside down?

How about when you spin around?

I may complain when I’m sad and down.

Or again when I’m angry or steamed,

but when I think of the spectrum of colors,

& how each emotion gives me some control

and sets me free to be who I was meant to.

With luck I was born,

and till death,

the view, an unending

kaleidescope.

For you, for me, for us, for we

With each new vantage point,

I am blessed

and begin to truly see!

I’ll ride the waves however

I please, I’m the captain of

this beautiful vessel!!

My heart might break,

But it mends too!!

Wherever I go, I am new.

We shall see what treasure

we can dig up,

on the next trip

Right around the waters edge

I’ll be there.

I’ll be there waiting for you.
